2014-15

ENTER>text is a performance series created by Marco DiDomenico and Henry Hoke. They invite writers and artists who work with language and literature to perform simultaneously throughout a space.

Introduction to a series of Focus Meditations created to combat the overwhelming tide of technological encroachment on our bodies.

&Now Festival, CalArts: In this performance I sang a piece called “Power and Prevalence” that serves as an introduction to The Noisy Void. I actually want you to press your thumb hard against your chin. Just try it, see how it feels.

Human Resources: For this performance, I whispered to each visitor who approached one line of a sonically abrasive poem I’d written out on a scroll.

Performance Chinatown: I sat in a bar on Chung King Road and wrote out short poems to describe red details a visitor could find along the street if they took away the slip and sought them out.
